About Schaumburg, Streamwood, Bartlett, and Roselle Illinois

I sell homes in Schaumburg, as well as the surrounding Northwest suburbs of Chicago which include Roselle, Elk Grove, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Streamwood and Bartlett, to name a few. These suburbs are approximately 20 minutes to 45 minutes west of O'Hare Airport. The Metra train line runs through all these towns. This is great for someone not wanting to drive to downtown Chicago, which is about 30-45 minutes away. Our weather is a little bit of everything, which is to be expected in Chicago; it definitely is not boring. The spring, summer and fall can be very nice and our winters have been fairly mild recently, based on past winters. If you do contact us and are interested in a town outside our area, we will refer you to an excellent agent in your desired area.

Alexian Field

The Village of Schaumburg, located just 26 miles northwest of downtown Chicago, is a city that has everything from Woodfield Mall (once the largest enclosed mall in America) to almost every restaurant imaginable. It is one of the metropolitan area's nicest suburban communities. The village is surrounded by the Township of Schaumburg and is close to Interstate 290, making it an excellent location for families, commuters and businesses as well. Since its incorporation in 1956, Schaumburg has experienced tremendous commercial and residential growth. The village offers comfortable living, abundant recreational opportunities, excellent schools and a thriving business community to approximately 80,000 residents. A great source for Schaumburg schools test results and other school accountability information is Interactive Illinois Report Card.

The Schaumburg Flyers stadium was a welcome addition to the area and is a great way to spend a spring or summer evening watching a ballgame. The village hosts many wonderful community events annually, providing the opportunity for residents to enjoy each other's company and their town. The Village of Schaumburg is designated a "Bicycle Friendly Community" by a national cycling organization and offers a diverse real estate market with a wide variety of single-family homes, as well as affordable townhomes and condominiums.

Townhomes and condominiums can be found in areas such as Lakewood, Lexington Green, Briar Pointe and Towne Place West. Prices range from just under $100,000 to the high $200,000s. Single family detached homes are found in neighborhoods such as Weathersfield Lakes, Nantucket Cove, and Lexington Village. Some homes are on large treed lots with prices starting in the mid-$200,000s and can exceed $450,000.

Real Estate Tips
Selling Your Home >Real Estate Agent Advantages

How do real estate agents sell homes? When a professional real estate agent is retained to sell a home, the agent will develop a marketing plan that has proven effective for selling homes quickly and for the maximum sale price.

The real estate agent will perform a market analysis, comparing the home with similar homes in your neighborhood that have recently sold. Your agent will evaluate the current real estate market in order to develop a price opinion for your home. The next step will be to make recommendations about preparing your home so that it is presented to its best advantage. A description of the home will be uploaded into the local Multiple Listing Service, and your agent will implement a marketing plan tailored to your home.

By listing your property, you expose it to thousands of real estate agents throughout the region. MLS exposure is one of the most valuable services a real estate agent can provide sellers. Real estate professionals aslo network with other agents in their office when they bring new listings to the market. Does this system work? 85% of the homes sold today use this method. Enough said!
